Restorative Dentistry & Replacement Teeth

Bridges, Partials, & Dentures

Missing teeth can have a snowball effect, causing a variety of dental problems, compromising your appearance, and diminishing your overall quality of life. Whether you’ve lost one tooth or several, visit Dr. Elmore for a consultation. He can restore your smile with our modern solutions, including bridges, partials, dentures, and dental implants.

Bridges
A dental bridge consists of two crowns and a replacement tooth. The crowns are placed over abutment teeth (the teeth surrounding the empty socket), and the replacement tooth literally bridges the gap. Bridges typically last 7 to 10 years before needing to be replaced.

Partials
A partial contains of a few replacement teeth on a gum-colored base. The device is designed to fit in place with your existing, healthy teeth. A partial is a removable solution that is secured with inconspicuous clasps or brackets. Partials should be relined or replaced every 7 to 10 years.

Dentures
A denture replaces all of the upper or lower teeth. Dr. Elmore designs natural-looking dentures that will accentuate your facial features. With full dentures, he can alter the size, shape, and color of your teeth, potentially giving you the smile you’ve always wanted. Dentures can be secured with natural suction, adhesives, or dental implants. For optimal comfort, we recommend having your dentures relined or replaced about every ten years.

Dental Implants
Dental implants are small, titanium screws that anchor replacement teeth in the jawbone. Dr. Elmore offers full implants and mini dental implants. By serving as tooth roots, dental implants closely mimic natural tooth design. In most cases, dental implants last for a lifetime.
